Summary: Looks like your nice weather pattern will continue into early
next week.

1) Central Atlantic (Azores) high is the main feature on the weather
map this morning.
2) At 12 utc Wed it was located near 42n/39w and will tend to mill
around in this area thru the weekend
     into early next week.
                         a) Position by Sunday near 44n/38w
3) As you cross the central Atlantic you will be going over the top of
this high.
4) Expect your winds will tend to clock into the WSW on Thursday and
as you get east of the longitude of
the high on Friday your breeze should continue to clock into the
W-NW 5) Wind speeds will come down as you get closer to the high
likely diminishing to 10 kts or less Thursday
     night/Friday.
6) Then Saturday as you continue east away from the nearly stationary
high your breeze should build
again into the 15 kt range from WNW.
7) Sunday there may be a little disturbance track SE east of your
position. a) If correct this could enhance your breeze
to 18-25 kts for a time Sat night/early Sunday.
                   b) Direction may trend to more NW-NNW direction.
8) If not correct you likely will continue with WNW wind in the 15 kt
range.
9) Either way winds early next week likely back to a more westerly
direction likely in the 10-20 kt range.
10) So no big storms or frontal systems to deal with into early next
week.

Routing? When winds go into the W Thursday you can go onto port and
head for Cork- waypoints below.
You should be able to clear any potential ice.

Position: near 44n/60w at 18utc Sun, June 18
Prepared: 1630utc Sun, June 18

Summary:

1) The current weather map shows a large high pressure system centered
near 40n/43w with a ridge axis extending west to the Carolina coasts.
2) You are in a good position on the NW side of this high where there
will continue to be good winds both in speed and direction.
3) This high will generally stay in place over the next several days
and will tend to grow stronger and become more expansive with time.
4) Meanwhile, you will have a weak warm front kind of riding NE along
with you today through Monday night with winds going back and forth
between SSW and SSE.
5) You should finally break away from this warm front by Tuesday
morning with winds increasing from the SW as a cold front moves into
southeast Canada and New England tightening up the pressure gradient.
6) A gusty SW wind should continue for you into Wednesday as well
before beginning to diminish Thursday as you get east of the tighter gradient.
7) Winds will become more westerly by later in the week as you ride
over the top of the high.
8) General weather will feature a chance of showers today and Monday
with the weak warm front, then fair and settled after that with high
pressure. 9) Seas will feature a light SSE to S swell through Monday
night, then building SW swell and chop Tuesday.

Routing?
1) Have you gradually getting up to 45n, then heading E along 45n.
