Dining here in my rowboat with LaMont Albertson while rowing to the outside coast of Alaska a couple of years ago, little did I know that I would be joining this great group of people to make an Atlantic crossing. Was it my prowess with the skulls that impressed Phil enough to ask me to join up? I think Phil has invested in some 22' carbon fiber oars in case we get becalmed out in the middle somewhere. If I see them lashed to the rail I will know why I was chosen .
